About Saturn Emulator
Saturn Emulator is a free, open-source Sega Saturn emulator for Windows, macOS, Linux and FreeBSD. It runs Saturn games from local disc images, uses a real Saturn IPL BIOS and brings together accurate system behaviour, low input lag, fullscreen output, save management, rewind and an advanced debugger in a single application built for everyday play.
saturn-emulator.com is an independent resource built to be the clearest place to download Saturn Emulator and understand what it does - which build to pick, how to set up a BIOS, how region handling works and how to get the best Saturn experience. The download links point to the genuine release files. Nothing is repackaged or wrapped in a custom installer.
Saturn Emulator is built on the open-source Ymir project created by StrikerX3 and is free software under the GNU General Public License v3.0. You can review the project, its source code and its releases on the official source repository.
Privacy
This site is intentionally simple. It is a static informational website that does not run analytics, ad networks, tracking pixels or third-party advertising scripts, and it does not set tracking cookies or collect personal data from visitors. There are no accounts to create and no forms that store your information on this site.
Downloads are hosted on GitHub rather than served from this site, so selecting a download link sends your request to GitHub, whose own privacy practices then apply. Standard server logs maintained by the hosting provider may record routine technical information (such as IP address and user agent) for security and operational purposes, as is normal for any website.
